Duties of this role:
  • The Officer will be responsible for quality assurance, acceptance, inspection of equipments, arms and ammunitions stores defect investigation, trials, vetting of draft indents/agreements/supply orders, sampling plans, liaison with production units, removal of bottlenecks and suggesting methods of improvement of quality.

  • Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry (Inorganic) from a recognized University. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Experience:Two years practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the fields of Metallurgy from recognized organization or undertaking.
  • note: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission.
Payscale & Benefits
Level 7 (Rs. 44900/- to 142400/-) (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale Rs. 44900/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
Age limits:
  • Should not exceed 30 years as on the normal closing date.
  • Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
